Hello, friends!

I just landed back in sunny Los Angeles via New York City. I had a lovely, fashion-packed trip in the Big Apple this past week and I want to share some of my favorite finds with you!

One of my favorite lingerie lines is based out of NY. My close friend, Claudia Ochoa, designs hand-made, French lace lingerie for a beautiful line called CLO. She fuses sexy and class together flawlessly! One of my favorite pieces of hers is a simple, tight, black lace tank top that I wear almost under everything. Isn't it cute?

A few times per season we have a sample sale that is really more party than sale. anyone who's been there knows we have a great time and have some amazing prices on CLO lingerie. Since no one is listening yet, I'm going to keep it brief...

I am going to discuss a lot of topics here and hope to get feedback from my friends on all aspects of fashion, utilization and the business of from my level. you're not going to hear about a glamorous life of jet setting around the world to fashion shows in Milan, Paris and New York [although i did dance on the bar in St Tropez], but you will hear about the every day craziness of creating great designs, getting them made to my exacting standards and then selling them to stores and the girls [and their men] who love them with a passion.

I would like this to be kind of company diary and primer on all aspects of the fashion business as seen from my level; i guess they call it 'young designers', or maybe 'independent', 'small' or 'up & coming' designers. since I'm not that young or small and i have been designing all my life, literally since i was a child, that would leave me with Independent. Which in my world is working 24/7 to satisfy wholesale customers [stores], my loyal retail customers, and everyone else in the design, sourcing and manufacturing process.

I will post company news, press, style advice relating to my designs, testimonials; in words, pictures and videos, and I would love to hear your feedback.

So here goes my first post an hopefully i will be posting once a week or so and i hope you enjoy it.
